Tatung is once of the traditional believes that had been organized as social-cultural system of West Kalimantan communities. Tatung believes as the spirits that enter into a man bodies. The spirits stayed in separate places in the earth or heaven and they come to human body when Tangki made invitation spiritual. The spirits do not get into every body. They only enter into the men body those have been chosen. The chosen men named Loya. When the spirits get into Loya, they can do a lot of things those are unusual for human being. They can stand or sit in the nail chair. Some of them The Loya even can blow fire their mouth without get injured. One of the most dangerous attraction is using knifes to cut their bodies. Part of their bodies like tang, hand, and leg is separate by the knife without bleeding. They won’t get injured and just fine after the spirits get out from the bodies. All of those attractions show that human bodies are only use as media for the spirit to do such unusual attractions. Tatung attractions show to public once a year on Cap Go Me celebration day.
